The museum exposition introduces the main milestones of the Tatarstan traditional and industrial history. The past, present and future of the region is closely connected with the oil industry, that is why there is a second focus of the exhibition - a city Almetyevsk, which is called the oil capital of Tatarstan. The exposition area of the museum and exhibition center is 700m².
The design of the exposition focuses on the maximum opening of the richness and diversity of the regions history. This is organised by the creation of the two main cores in the exhibition:
The first core - Gold of Tatarstan- reveals the uniqueness of the history in which the atmosphere of the treasury was created. In the design of the space, traditional motifs of Tataria were used. On the circular display there are 6 showcases with holographic interactive installations.
The second core - Black Gold- reveals aspects of the modern development of Tatarstan and Almetyevsk in general and the oil industry in particular. Stylistically the zone is made in the trends of ultra-modern technological design.
From each center diverges a related expositional zone, which opens each more detailed themes and information briefly exposed in a center. Both centers are connected with each other by a continuous visual perspective, which is penetrating diagonally the whole depth of the museum. This composition reveals a duality, the coherence and not separability of the history and modern authenticity of the region.
